NCR 'very low risk' for Covid-19 with 105 daily cases

The National Capital Region (NCR) is now classified as 'very low risk' for COVID-19 with an average of 105 new cases per day from December 1 to 7, according to OCTA Research.

OCTA noted the reproduction number was very low at 0.34 and the test positivity rate was just 1.1 percent.

Cities like Malabon, Navotas, Caloocan, Valenzuela, Marikina, Manila, Parañaque, Pasay, Las Piñas, Mandaluyong, and Pateros are classified as very low risk for COVID-19.

Meanwhile, Muntinlupa, Makati, Quezon City, Pasig, Taguig, and San Juan are classified as low risk with healthcare utilization rates ranging from 31 to 33 percent.
