DOH: Active Covid-19 cases remain below 12K

As of Saturday, December 11, the Philippines logged 356 new coronavirus cases, maintaining active cases below 12,000.

The Department of Health (DOH) reported 878 recoveries and 135 deaths, increasing total recoveries to 2,774,891 and fatalities to 50,096.

On Thursday, December 9, the DOH recorded 882 new recoveries, bringing active cases down to 12,169 with a positivity rate of 1.3 percent.

The number of recovered cases now accounts for 97.8% of all confirmed cases since March last year.
