Duterte places NCR Plus under GCQ with heightened restrictions

President Duterte placed Metro Manila and nearby provinces (NCR Plus) under general community quarantine with heightened restrictions starting May 15 until May 31.

The affected areas include Bulacan, Cavite, Laguna, Rizal, Baguio City, Apayao, Benguet, Kalinga, Mountain Province, Abra, Cagayan, Isabela, Nueva Vizcaya, Batangas, Quezon, Puerto Princesa, Iligan City, and Davao City.

City of Santiago, Quirino, Ifugao, and Zamboanga City will be under modified enhanced community quarantine while the rest of the country remains under modified GCQ.
