NCR mayors urge suspension of outdoor activities for children

Manila and other NCR mayors have urged parents to keep their children at home due to the threat posed by the Delta variant.

The MMDA meeting of metro mayors voted to temporarily halt outdoor activities for children aged five years and above, citing the aggressive nature of the Delta variant.

Metro Manila mayors appealed to President Duterte and the IATF to suspend the policy allowing minors in GCQ areas to go outdoors due to rising cases and local detection of the Delta variant.
