Metro Manila suspends vaccinations due to rain

Due to incessant rain and strong winds, several vaccination sites in Metro Manila suspended or canceled inoculation activities on July 24-25.

Valenzuela City Mayor Rex Gatchalian announced a suspension of vaccinations until at least Monday, July 26.

City governments in Caloocan, Pasay, Pasig, and the Sucat site in Muntinlupa only accommodated those already present early on Saturday before suspending operations for the rest of the day.

PAGASA forecasted moderate to heavy rains over Metro Manila until Sunday morning due to the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat).

Muncovac, Muntinlupa's vaccination program, rescheduled second dose appointments from July 24 to Monday through Wednesday, July 26-28.
