NCR LGUs near completion start vaccinating non-residents

Metro Manila local government units (LGUs) near completion of inoculations are now accepting residents from other areas seeking vaccine slots.

Pateros and Mandaluyong City, which have fully vaccinated their target populations, are among the first to implement this initiative.

MMDA Chairman Benhur Abalos clarified that only LGUs with at least 80% completion can vaccinate non-residents.

Residents from other areas must set a schedule and obtain a QR code before getting vaccinated in another LGU.

The MMDA plans to expand vaccination efforts to nearby provinces such as Bulacan, Rizal, Laguna, and Cavite.
