MMDA sends team to Maguindanao after Paeng

The government has sent a 28-man team to Maguindanao del Sur and Maguindanao del Norte in Mindanao to address logistics issues caused by Typhoon Nalgae (Paeng), which now has a death toll of 150.

The MMDA team brought 40 units of portable water purification systems that can filter 180 gallons of water per hour, and materials for road clearing operations.

The team will work with the Philippine Army to set up water purifiers in communities lacking clean water and clear roads affected by flooding and landslides.
