Mikey Williams has returned to the Philippines and reunited with former Mighty Sports head coach Charles Tiu for Strong Group Athletics ahead of the Dubai International Basketball Championship.

Williams expressed his desire to return to TNT but acknowledged unresolved issues preventing an immediate comeback, emphasizing that he remains emotionally attached to the team despite sitting out Season 48.

The 33-year-old guard noted that he has maintained connections with his TNT teammates and watched each game during his absence in the U.S., hoping for a quicker resolution.

Williams stated that only time will tell about his potential return to TNT, focusing on the upcoming Dubai tournament before considering future opportunities.
