Metro Manila's COVID-19 rate rises to 6.5%

Metro Manila's COVID-19 positivity rate increased to 6.5% as of April 8, surpassing the WHO-recommended threshold of 5%.

The previous week's positivity rate in Metro Manila was 4.4%, indicating a rise in infections.

Several other regions also saw their positivity rates exceed 5%, including Misamis Oriental at 16.3%, Camarines Sur at 14%, and Palawan at 13.6%.
