Metro Manila COVID-19 positivity rate drops to 4.2%

The weekly COVID-19 positivity rate in Metro Manila dropped to 4.2% as of July 8, according to OCTA Research.

This is a decrease from the previous week's rate of 4.8%. The World Health Organization recommends a threshold of 5% for positivity rates.

While positivity rates decreased in Bulacan and Cavite, they increased in Camarines Sur, Oriental Mindoro, Palawan, Quezon, Rizal, Zambales, Batangas, Benguet, Pampanga, and Pangasinan.
