Metro Manila’s contact tracing improves slightly during MECQ

Metro Manila's contact tracing efforts improved slightly during the two-week MECQ period.

The ratio of close contacts traced per confirmed case in Metro Manila increased from 1:4 to 1:5, according to Baguio City Mayor Benjamin Magalong.

Magalong noted that this improvement is still far from the ideal ratio of 1:30 or 1:37 and expressed dissatisfaction with the current figure.

CALABARZON's contact tracing ratio worsened from 1:5 to 1:4 during the same period, while MIMAROPA and Cordillera Administrative Region traced 27 and 22 close contacts per case respectively.
