Medical City remains open to all patients

The Medical City (TMC) stated it will remain open to all patients despite reaching full capacity with confirmed and suspected COVID-19 cases.

An internal memo from TMC's Hospital Infection Control and Epidemiology Center Director Karl Evans Henson indicated the hospital had reached its limit due to manpower constraints.

Dr. Eugenio Jose Ramos, president and CEO of The Medical City, clarified that the memo was an internal directive meant to manage the influx of cases temporarily and did not reflect a change in policy towards admitting patients.
