Ilocos Norte's first PUI tests negative for COVID-19

A 35-year-old man who recently traveled to Hong Kong is Ilocos Norte's first patient under investigation (PUI) for COVID-19.

The man, suffering from flu-like symptoms, was admitted to a local hospital on March 4 and his sample was sent to RITM for testing.

Over the weekend, the PUI tested negative for COVID-19, bringing relief to health officials and government workers in Ilocos Norte.
