Marcy Teodoro appeals for materials to rebuild typhoon-damaged homes

Marikina City Mayor Marcelino Teodoro appealed for construction material donations to help residents rebuild houses damaged by Typhoon Ulysses.

Teodoro received 2,000 relief packs from the Chinese Filipino Business Club Inc. and MMDA but emphasized the need for housing materials.

The mayor also welcomed construction companies volunteering to assist in rebuilding homes.

Over 3,880 families are still staying in evacuation centers due to submerged houses and thick mud.
