PWD donates alms to Ulysses victims

A stroke patient and person with disability (PWD) named Romeo Menil donated P12,390 he collected through begging on the streets to Typhoon Ulysses victims in Marikina City.

Menil carried an endorsement letter from his barangay captain and personally handed over the donation to Mayor Marcelino Teodoro at the city hall.

The money was given in various denominations including coins wrapped in plastic.

This act of kindness comes after Typhoon Ulysses caused massive flooding in Marikina, reminiscent of the devastating floods during Tropical Storm Ondoy.
