Maring causes P46M damage in Cagayan

Severe Tropical Storm Maring caused P46 million worth of damage in Cagayan, affecting agriculture, infrastructure, and livestock.

The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) reported P34 million in agricultural losses, P11 million in infrastructure damage, and P1.2 million in livestock losses.

Some families are still staying in evacuation centers due to ongoing issues with power interruptions and flooding in two barangays.

Despite massive outages caused by damaged poles and power lines, full power restoration was achieved on Wednesday.
