Marcos meets Chinese officials to boost PH-China ties

Philippine President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. met with Chinese officials on Wednesday to discuss improving economic ties between the two countries.

During his meeting with Li Zhanshu, chairman of China's National People’s Congress, Marcos emphasized the need for stronger cooperation in areas that will stabilize and strengthen both economies post-pandemic.

In a separate bilateral meeting with Premier Li Keqiang, Marcos reiterated the importance of maintaining strong partnerships to ensure mutual economic growth and build relations with other allied countries.
