Marcos urges farmers to support affordable food effort, distributes land titles

President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. urged agrarian reform beneficiaries on Friday to support the government's effort to provide affordable and quality food for Filipinos.

During his visit, Marcos distributed land titles to 4,456 agrarian reform beneficiaries in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, adding to the previously announced distribution of 5,918.44 hectares of land across South Cotabato, Cotabato, Sarangani, and Sultan Kudarat.

The President encouraged farmers to inspire their children to continue farming as an honorable profession and produce food for Filipinos.

Marcos instructed the Department of Agrarian Reform once again to expedite the distribution of farmlands to beneficiaries.

He assured the public that the government would support farmers in increasing their income and alleviating poverty, hunger, and debt.

This event is part of Marcos's ongoing efforts to travel across the country and distribute land to agrarian reform beneficiaries.
