Marcos distributes over 4,900 land titles and P15M worth of farming tools in Zamboanga del Norte

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. reaffirmed his commitment on Friday to ensure all agrarian reform beneficiaries (ARBs) receive their land titles during his term or beyond.

During a visit in Dipolog City, Zamboanga del Norte, he distributed over 4,900 land titles and more than P15 million worth of farming tools and equipment to farmers from three provinces in the Zamboanga Peninsula.

Marcos emphasized that his efforts extend beyond distributing land titles to include providing essential support like fertilizers, pesticides, and crisis aid such as AICS (Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation).

The government distributed 4,956 Certificates of Land Ownership Awards (CLOAs), with 3,950 from the Department of Agrarian Reform's Support to Parcelization of Land for Individual Titling (SPLIT) project and 1,006 regular titles under the Comprehensive Agrarian Reform Program.

Agrarian Reform Secretary Conrado Estrella III highlighted that beneficiaries ranging in age from 30 to 81 had waited an average of 30 to 42 years before receiving their land titles.
