Marcos cites progress in health, livelihood, peace in 100 days

President Ferdinand 'Bongbong' Marcos Jr. highlighted his administration's progress in health, livelihood, and peace during his first 100 days in office.

The government has accelerated the COVID-19 vaccination and booster rollout through the PinasLakas campaign, with over 73 million Filipinos fully vaccinated and nearly 20 million receiving boosters as of October 6.

The DOH reported that the country's vaccination rate for fully vaccinated individuals is now at 93.81%, or 73.3 million Filipinos, while 25.62% of the general population have received their first booster dose.

Health workers also vaccinated members of indigenous peoples in Floridablanca, Pampanga as part of efforts to increase vaccine coverage among geographically isolated and disadvantaged areas.
