Iligan Mayor requires proof of COVID-19 booster shots

Iligan Mayor Frederick Siao is enforcing an executive order requiring workers and visitors to show proof of COVID-19 booster shots or negative test results before entering establishments.

The mayor signed Executive Order 37-2022 on September 23, which mandates all city establishments and their employees to be fully vaccinated with a booster dose.

Implementation began shortly after the city's fiesta celebrations, despite concerns raised over the new requirement.
