Bacolod doubles vaccine target but lags on boosters

Bacolod City has fully vaccinated over 518,000 people aged 18 to 59, doubling its original target of 257,332.

The city also exceeded its vaccination goal for senior citizens by 154.04%, with 79,425 individuals vaccinated.

However, the city is falling short on booster shots; only 30.93% of adults have received their first booster dose and just 2.47% have gotten a second booster shot.

The City Health Office warned residents to get boosted soon due to limited vaccine supplies, with Sinovac and Pfizer being the only brands available.
