Malls reopen under MECQ with safety protocols

Several malls in the Philippines reopened on May 16 under relaxed quarantine measures.

Vista Malls, operated by Villar-led Vistamalls Inc., opened 20 locations last Saturday and will open another one in Taguig Sunday.

Malls are operating with shortened hours and limited services to ensure safety against COVID-19.

Facilities like cinemas, play areas, and restrooms remain closed as per government orders.

Safety measures include wearing masks, temperature checks, sanitation, social distancing, and disinfection.
