Malacañang assures continuous aid for Typhoon Odette victims

Malacañang assured continuous government assistance for areas affected by Typhoon Odette.

As of Friday, 83,026 families or 332,855 persons have been preemptively evacuated in Regions 6, 7, 8, 9, and Caraga.

The Department of Social Welfare and Development provided family food packs to disaster-affected families and continues to coordinate with local government units for support.

On Thursday, the Palace said all hands are on deck as national and local governments team up to respond to community needs in typhoon-affected regions.

By Thursday morning, a total of 98,091 persons had been evacuated from Regions 7, 8, 10, and Caraga.
