Makati ready for granular lockdowns, aid assured

Makati City is prepared for the pilot implementation of granular lockdowns in NCR, with Mayor Abby Binay assuring aid for affected residents.

The city has been implementing its own localized community quarantine since March and recently imposed a 14-day lockdown in Barangay Pio del Pilar due to a spike in cases.

Binay stated that food packs, COVID-19 home care kits, and swab tests will be provided to residents if their street or barangay is placed under granular lockdown.
