Agusan Sur towns place barangays under granular lockdown

Six barangays in Bayugan City, Agusan del Sur were placed under granular lockdown starting Sunday due to a spike in COVID-19 cases.

The lockdown includes Barangay Maygatasan and four subcommunities in Poblacion, as well as one subcommunity each in Barangays Taglatawan, Salvacion, Cagbas, and Calaitan.

All residents are required to stay home and follow quarantine protocols; entry and exit points will be monitored by the Philippine National Police and CIATF.

In Prosperidad, four areas in Barangay Patin-ay (Purok 1, 2, 3, and 5) were also placed under granular lockdown for 14 days starting Saturday due to increased infections.

The local government will provide aid to families with members who tested positive for COVID-19.
