Luzon's 14 areas have 'very high' COVID rates; NCR's up to 14.5%

Fourteen areas in Luzon have recorded 'very high' COVID-19 positivity rates above 20%, with Isabela at 36.3% and Tarlac at 31.6%.

The National Capital Region's (NCR) positivity rate increased to 14.5%, up from 14.2% previously.

OCTA Research noted NCR's average daily attack rate is 7.80 cases per 100,000 population and its reproduction number is at 1.28.

Healthcare utilization rate in NCR is at 36.9%, with 2,180 beds occupied.
