NCR’s COVID-19 healthcare utilization rate climbs to 35.6%

The COVID-19 healthcare utilization rate (HCUR) in the National Capital Region (NCR) increased to 35.6% as of July 25, up from 31.7% on July 24.

OCTA Research noted that ICU utilization in NCR also slightly rose to 28%, compared to 27.3% the previous day.

The DOH defines HCUR as the aggregate use of ICUs, isolation beds, and mechanical ventilators.

Previously, on July 26, OCTA reported that NCR's one-week HCUR climbed from 30.7% to 31.7%, with ICU utilization rising from 24% to 27.3%.
