Philippines records new Covid-19 cases in Kalinga, Cotabato

Kalinga recorded its first two coronavirus cases on Wednesday and Thursday, with one case being an overseas Filipino worker returning from Abu Dhabi.

In Cotabato City, the police chief ordered around 250 officers to undergo rapid tests after two active police officers tested positive for Covid-19.

Health personnel in South Cotabato are monitoring passengers of a May 31 flight from Cebu linked to four confirmed cases; two passengers from General Santos and one each from South Cotabato and Sultan Kudarat have already tested positive.

A woman who traveled from Manila to Cotabato City on June 6 is the city's latest patient, bringing the total number of patients in the region to 32.
