ITCZ brings scattered rains to Southern Luzon, Visayas, Mindanao

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) will affect Southern Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao on Saturday, bringing cloudy skies with scattered rainshowers and thunderstorms.

MIMAROPA, Western and Central Visayas, Northern Mindanao, and Zamboanga Peninsula are expected to experience moderate to heavy rains that may cause flash floods or landslides.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to ITCZ and localized thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds moving east to southeast in Luzon and slight to moderate seas are forecasted, while Visayas and Mindanao will experience light winds from the east with slight seas.
