Lottle de Leon honors late mother Nora Aunor on Instagram

Actress Lotlot de Leon paid tribute to her late mother, National Artist Nora Aunor, with a heartfelt letter and childhood photo posted on Instagram.

In the letter, Lotlot expressed daily conversations with her mother and shared that she believes her mother is listening.

Lotlot promised to care for her siblings Matet, Ian, Kiko, and Kenneth, as well as their grandchildren, in accordance with her mother's final wishes.

She also committed to living up to her mother's teachings about being strong and vowed to protect Nora's legacy.

The actress thanked the public for their support during this difficult time and expressed gratitude towards her loyal fans, the Noranians.

Nora Aunor passed away on April 16 at the age of 71 due to acute respiratory failure, with a funeral service held at Metropolitan Theater followed by burial at Libingan ng mga Bayani.

On May 4, Nora will be posthumously awarded the Presidential Medal of Merit along with Pilita Corrales, Gloria Romero, and Margarita Fores for their contributions to nation-building.
