Letran beats Perpetual Help in triple OT, improves to 5-2

Colegio de San Juan de Letran secured a hard-fought victory over the University of Perpetual Help, winning 82-73 in triple overtime on Saturday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.

Deo Cuajao led the Knights with 19 points after playing for an impressive 48 minutes and 54 seconds, while Nat Montecillo contributed 14 crucial points.

In the final extra session, key plays by Jimboy Estrada, Kevin Santos, Joseph Nunag, and other players helped Letran pull away from Perpetual Help.

The Muralla-based team improved to a 5-2 record with this victory, marking their third straight win and moving them just half a game behind league-leader College of St. Benilde (5-1).

Perpetual Help struggled to maintain leads throughout the fourth quarter and overtime periods, finishing with a record of 4-3.
