Lyceum beats Perpetual 64-62 in NCAA men's basketball

Lyceum of the Philippines University snapped a two-game losing streak in the NCAA Season 100 men's basketball tournament with a narrow 64-62 victory over Perpetual on Tuesday, October 1.

Neil Moralejo's go-ahead three-pointer with 9 seconds left capped a late surge that lifted Lyceum to their win after trailing by double digits early in the game.

Renz Villegas led the Pirates with 18 points, 7 steals, 5 rebounds, and 3 assists, while Joshua Moralejo contributed eight points and one rebound.

In another game, Mapua secured a 77-71 victory over Arellano, improving their record to 6-2 and remaining just behind CSB in the standings.

Clint Escamis contributed 15 points, 8 assists, 5 rebounds, and 4 steals for Mapua, while Chris Hubilla added 15 points and 8 rebounds.
