San Beda edges out Letran 66-64 in crucial NCAA game

San Beda University's men's basketball team narrowly edged out Colegio de San Juan de Letran with a thrilling 66-64 victory in the Season 100 NCAA tournament on Tuesday at the FilOil EcoOil Centre.

Bryan Sajonia scored the game-winning three-pointer, while Jomel Puno led all scorers with 22 points and ten rebounds.

After trailing by as many as ten points early in the fourth quarter, San Beda went on a crucial 17-0 run to take control of the match.

Despite Letran's loss, Jimboy Estrada remains optimistic about his team's performance, noting that they were close throughout the game and emphasizing the need for better communication and fewer turnovers.
