Paul Lee's clutch performance lifts Magnolia past Meralco

Paul Lee's outstanding performance in the fourth quarter led Magnolia to a decisive 117-92 victory over Meralco in the PBA Season 49 Philippine Cup on Wednesday at Ninoy Aquino Stadium.

Lee scored 27 points, including three successful four-point shots, and contributed significantly to breaking open the game late.

Magnolia extended its winning streak to six games with strong support from Zav Lucero, Rome Dela Rosa, and James Laput, each scoring 11 points.

Tempers flared in the final minutes when Meralco's Cliff Hodge committed a flagrant foul on Lucero, leading to benches clearing but no further incidents.

Chris Banchero led Meralco with 20 points, but could not prevent Magnolia from maintaining its perfect record and top position in the standings.
