The La Salle Lady Spikers are competing for a twice-to-beat berth in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament, despite being affected by injuries.

Despite their encouraging win-loss record of 10-2, the team faces ongoing challenges due to injuries, including those sustained by MVP Angel Canino and opposite hitter Baby Jyne Soreño who dislocated her left shoulder during a recent match against Adamson.

Assistant coach Noel Orcullo noted that the team's movements have become tentative, leading to disarray on the court, but La Salle bounced back with a victory over Adamson in four sets on Wednesday.

With limited rotation due to injuries, players like Shavenna Laput and Julia Coronel are stepping up their performance, emphasizing the importance of sticking to their system and playing with confidence.

Coronel highlighted the need for continuous improvement and mental composure as they prepare for the semis and finals under coach Ramil de Jesus while continuing to assess Soreño's injury status.
