La Salle's Phillips defends coach Robinson against spitting allegations

Phillips emphasized that the entire La Salle team and community support Robinson despite any controversies, highlighting the coach's unwavering support for his players and likening him to Jesus because 'he's always there' even at their lowest points.

Robinson admitted to shouting at Torres but denied spitting and apologized for his behavior, while receiving a stern warning from the league over unsportsmanlike conduct.

The UAAP cleared Robinson of wrongdoing but issued a stern warning regarding his verbal altercation with Torres, and both Robinson and Torres received similar warnings.

Phillips praised Robinson's character, describing him as an extension of Jesus due to his consistent support even when players make mistakes, and expressed that the La Salle community is behind him despite any controversies.
