UE Lady Warriors lose to La Salle Lady Spikers 4-0

The University of the East (UE) Lady Warriors faced a challenging match against the defending champion La Salle Lady Spikers in the UAAP Season 86 women's volleyball tournament on Wednesday, March 6.

Despite UE rookie Casiey Dongallo's strong performance with 15 points, the Lady Spikers dominated with a score of 25-21, 25-18, and 25-10 to secure their fourth win of the season.

Sophomore Angel Canino from La Salle showcased her skills by scoring 17 points, making nine excellent digs, and receiving seven excellent receptions, helping her team regain their top form after a loss to University of Santo Tomas.

Canino praised Dongallo's potential as the league's top rookie sensation while expressing satisfaction with her own performance and the team's growing confidence.

UE has now suffered four consecutive losses after a promising start to the season but remains committed to learning from their experiences against top teams like La Salle, while La Salle looks forward to their match against UP Fighting Maroons on Sunday.
