DLSU beats UE 3-0 in UAAP men's volleyball

De La Salle University defeated University of the East 3-0 to improve their record to 4-1 in the UAAP men's volleyball tournament on Wednesday.

The Green Spikers won with set scores of 25-14, 25-20, and 31-29 at the SM Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City.

Vince Maglinao led DLSU with 16 points, five digs, and three receptions, while Noel Kampton contributed 13 points and eight receptions.

Despite leading in the third set, De La Salle faced a comeback attempt from University of the East but secured victory due to their opponents' errors.

The Red Warriors made crucial mistakes at the end of the third set which allowed DLSU to clinch the match after one hour and 25 minutes.

Both teams will face new challenges this Sunday, with De La Salle taking on undefeated University of the Philippines while University of the East faces defending champion National University.
