Kyle Negrito wins first Best Setter award, helps Creamline clinch title

Kyle Negrito, who has been mentored by PVL 8-time Best Setter Jia de Guzman, won her first Best Setter award and helped Creamline secure its second consecutive PVL All-Filipino Conference title.

Creamline clinched the championship with a series sweep over Choco Mucho on Sunday evening at Smart Araneta Coliseum in front of 23,162 fans.

Negrito highlighted her own consistent hard work and dedication despite comparisons to De Guzman and social media doubts, emphasizing that she is grateful for De Guzman's guidance and support throughout the conference.

De Guzman arrived a few days ago to cheer for Creamline during their title-clinching win and expressed pride in Negrito's achievements.

Negrito thanked her fans and supporters who believed in her, offering her gold medal and 'four-peat' shirt as a sign of gratitude.
