Karding death toll climbs to 12, over 900K affected

Super Typhoon Karding has affected nearly 911,404 individuals across seven regions as of Friday.

The death toll from the typhoon has risen to 12 with eight fatalities verified, including five rescuers in Bulacan who died during rescue operations and one person each due to drowning or landslide in Zambales, Quezon, and Baliuag.

Six people remain missing while 52 are injured.

In Central Luzon alone, at least 3,946 people from 1,124 families are still in evacuation sites with most displaced by floods and landslides.
