Karding affects over one million people across Luzon

Super Typhoon Karding has affected over one million people across several regions of Luzon.

As of Tuesday, October 4, at least 3,601 individuals remained in evacuation sites in Central Luzon, while the total number of displaced families nationwide reached 299,519.

The typhoon caused P2.6 billion worth of damage to agriculture and left 12 dead with five missing.

Additionally, around 58,944 houses were damaged, with most being partially affected in Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Central Luzon, Calabarzon, and the Cordillera Administrative Region.
