Justice Sec: Percy Lapid middleman's death planned

Justice Secretary Jesus Remulla says the death of Cristito Villamor Palaña, a middleman involved in the plot to kill broadcaster Percy Lapid, was planned.

Forensic expert Dr. Raquel Fortun conducted a second autopsy and found signs of suffocation by plastic bag, pulmonary congestion, edema, and hemorrhage.

Villamor died inside New Bilibid Prison on October 18th, shortly after the confessed gunman Joel Escorial appeared before the media to discuss the murder-for-hire plot.
