DOJ: 2nd autopsy on Lapid slay 'middleman' to be released Friday

The Department of Justice (DOJ) will release the results of the second autopsy conducted on Jun Villamor, the alleged middleman in the killing of newsman Percy Lapid, by Friday.

Justice Secretary Jesus Crispin Remulla said that the autopsy has been completed and is waiting for Dr. Fortun's written report.

Villamor died inside New Bilibid Prison shortly after being identified as a middleman who contacted the hired killers involved in Mabasa’s murder.

The police are still investigating messages received by Villamor's sibling from him hours before his death.
