ITCZ, Easterlies bring rain, thunderstorms across PH

Two weather systems are expected to bring cloudy skies and rainfall across the Philippines through Sunday, April 27.

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) is affecting Mindanao and Palawan with scattered rains, thunderstorms, and warnings for potential flash floods or landslides due to moderate to heavy rainfall.

Easterlies will bring cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms over Eastern Samar, Leyte, and Southern Leyte, while the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Light to moderate winds with slight to moderate coastal waters may be felt across the country, and residents are advised to exercise caution during severe weather conditions.

Temperatures will range from a minimum of 23°C to a maximum of 35°C over the next 24-hour period.
