ITCZ, easterlies affect PH weather; PAGASA warns of LPAs

The Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ) and easterlies will continue to affect weather conditions across the Philippines on Labor Day, according to PAGASA.

Palawan and Mindanao will experience cloudy skies with scattered rains and thunderstorms due to the ITCZ, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides.

Eastern Samar will have similar weather patterns caused by the easterlies, with possible risks of flash floods or landslides from moderate rainfall.

Metro Manila and other parts of the country will see partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms due to the easterlies, posing a risk for flash floods during severe storms.

PAGASA warned that low pressure areas may develop in the next 24 hours near Mindanao, increasing the potential for more intense rainfall and weather disturbances.

The entire nation will experience light to moderate wind speeds moving from east to northeast, along with slight to moderate coastal waters.
