PAGASA warns of rain showers and scattered storms on Easter Sunday

Cloudy skies and isolated rain showers are expected across the Philippines on Easter Sunday, April 20, with temperatures ranging from 26°C to 35°C due to easterly winds.

According to PAGASA's daily weather forecast, Metro Manila and other parts of the country will experience partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers or thunderstorms.

Davao Oriental, Davao Occidental, Sarangani, Sultan Kudarat, Basilan, Sulu, and Tawi-Tawi are expected to see cloudy conditions with scattered rains and thunderstorms, potentially leading to flash floods or landslides.

Flash floods or landslides may occur as a result of these weather conditions during severe thunderstorms, PAGASA warned.

Light to moderate winds along with slight to moderate coastal waters are also expected throughout the nation.
