PAGASA: ITCZ brings rains, thunderstorms in southern areas

PAGASA forecasts cloudy skies with rain showers and thunderstorms over Palawan, SOCCSKSARGEN, BARMM, Davao Region, and Zamboanga Peninsula due to the Intertropical Convergence Zone (ITCZ).

Flash floods or landslides may occur during severe thunderstorms.

Northern Luzon will experience a ridge of high pressure area with light to moderate southwestward winds, while easterlies will bring partly cloudy skies with isolated rain showers over Metro Manila and other parts of the country due to localized thunderstorms.
