PEZA requests IATF to include ecozone workers in A4 vax group

PEZA has requested the IATF to include workers in economic zones, particularly BPO and export-oriented employees, in the A4 priority group for COVID-19 vaccination.

Director General Charito Plaza noted that these sectors have continued operating even during ECQ to ensure global supply chain continuity.

Plaza emphasized that including ecozone workers in the vaccine priority list would protect their jobs and livelihoods while contributing to herd immunity and economic recovery.
