Labor Day: Workers across PH get free COVID jabs

On Labor Day, various regions across the Philippines conducted ceremonial vaccinations for essential workers and overseas Filipino workers (OFWs).

In Soccsksargen, ten private workers received their first dose of Sinovac’s CoronaVac vaccine at a gymnasium in Koronadal City.

Zamboanga City marked the day with the vaccination of 10 economic front-liners organized by DOH-9.

Quezon City vaccinated 450 OFWs and tricycle operators, while Manila inoculated 5,000 minimum wage workers and OFWs under Priority Group A4.
